Worked as a carpenter providing construction and renovation services for members in the community. Built 3 decks, refurbished a barn, fixed roofs, built a storage area, exterior and interior painting, renovated a living room, built a basement suite and many other small maintenance and construction projects. I am currently the primary contractor for any maintenance requests at the South Point Estates condocomplex here in Campbell River.
Worked as a hired employee providing restoration and maintenance services for a property management company. Used all my skills and past experiences to provide solutions to interior and exterior building maintenance needs. Haven Management provided property management including maintenance contracts with 18 apartment buildings in the Greater Vancouver area and more than 50 commercial and residential clients including restaurants and retail stores. I was given assignments where I had to go, assess the situation, estimate the project, interact with the client and complete the project. This provided me with opportunities to fix different kinds of problems in many different kinds of buildings.
Worked together with a painting contractor painting and renovating. Painted new large hones and existing residences and provided interior finishing carpentry and dry wall repair.
Worked as a general contractor doing small renovations. Worked with another contractor on "Semiahmoo", a 20-suite new waterfront apartment building. Provided maintenance for the apartment building once it was completed to fix problems new tenants had including water leaks. Worked on a new hillside view residence helping with layout, building forms for concrete walls, suspended slab and all aspects of framing and interior wood finishing
